Beschreibung: This seminar intertwines a series of public lectures given by international scholars with discussions of texts that provide students with relevant concepts and enhance their understanding of the lectures. Students are introduced to current research in American Studies and learn about vibrant areas of scholarship, such as the economic humanities, speculative fiction studies, and sound studies.
