Beschreibung: This Schreibwerkstatt workshop will address writing seminar papers in English. It will support bachelor stu-dents in the Institute of English and American Studies Introduction to Literary and Cultural Studies courses.
Some points covered in this workshop will be:
• key elements of the writing process
• key functions of academic texts
• ways of structuring seminar papers
• ways of creating coherence
• strategies for the writing process
• useful academic phrases and collocations
Students will be able to
• review structural and linguistic requirements for seminar papers
• plan a realistic writing schedule
• schedule further, individual writing consultations with the Schreibwerkstatt
