Beschreibung: ALP: Speaking is a course for first-year students. It can be taken as an ALP: Speaking course in the new PO or as an IELP course in the old PO. It cannot be taken as an AELP: Speaking class! This class will focus on improving students’ spoken English including their pronunciation, intonation, rhythm and stress placement as well as their overall lexical and grammatical abilities. Students will be required to lead a class discussion, complete small assignments throughout the semester, and pass a final oral exam.
