Beschreibung: Conversations are a prime means to study language. It's a rich source of information about how people construct and negotiate meanings. This class is intended to provide students with a broad overview on the analysis of conversations.
This seminar is designed for 4LP students only. Students who need to complete 2LP for the V2 module may register for the lecture "Language Variation and Change". Only under certain circumstances, such as a particular interest in the topic or a provable scheduling conflict, you may approach me about completing this class for 2LP.
Course requirements:
2LP: active participation
4LP: active participation + term paper
