Designed for students with a technical background and foreign law students, the course explores key areas including constitutional law, criminal law, and – this will be the focus – civil law. In the course, the formation of contracts and contractual and non-contractual liability will be discussed. For the master students, a general understanding of the German legal system is essential for the second semester. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with a foundational understanding of how law functions in Germany and how legal thinking is structured within the German legal tradition.
