Beschreibung: FIY: the weekly lectures will be recorder and uploaded
This lecture will introduce students to key concepts of English Grammar and how they can be described and analyzed linguistically. On the basis of Huddleston & Pullum (2021) we will look at parts of speech, phrases, clauses, syntactic patterns, and morphological phenomena.
This lecture is the second part of the ANG-B-SW Module (K2) and concludes with a final written exam. Note: If you haven't passed the ANG-B-SW-K1 exam yet (Introduction to ELL) you are not allowed to take this lecture, please contact me to talk about you options.
