Es geht um die selbständige Erarbeitung und Halten von Vorträgen im Bereichen angewandten Bioinformatik, Computational Biology und evolutionäre Biophysik
Die Lehrveranstaltung führt in die Evolution der biophysikalischen Prozesse. Inhalte sind unter anderem:
• Evolution von Enzym-Mechanismen,
• Biophysik der Protein-Evolution,
• Biophysik der RNA- und DNA-Evolution,
• Evolution von Prokaryonten
• Grundlagen von Comparative Genomics
• Strukturvorhersage
This course is a part of the Module " PHY-BPHBI-15: Biophysical and Applied Bioinformatics".
Students should prepare and deliver talks in the fields of Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and Evolutionary Biophysics
The course deals with selected questions of evolution of biophysical processes. Contents include:
• Evolution of enzyme mechanisms,
• Biophysics of protein evolution,
• Biophysics of RNA- and DNA-evolution,
• Evolution of prokaryotes
• Basics of comparative genomics
• Structure prediction
